How it works

  1. Call the front desk

Call (352) 555-0142. We check your insurance and book a first visit or a meet and greet.

  2. Send your child's records

Ask your old pediatrician for shot records and visit notes, or sign a release and we will ask.

  3. Come to the first visit

Arrive 15 minutes early with your insurance card and your child's medicines. Plan on about 45 minutes.

Your first visit

Your child's doctor or nurse practitioner reviews your child's history, does a full checkup and gives any vaccines that are due on the American Academy of Pediatrics schedule. You leave knowing when the next visit is and how to reach us after hours.

If your child has asthma or another long-term condition, bring the current action plan and any inhalers or devices.

Video visits

A rash or a follow-up may not need a trip in. Video visits are for children who are in Florida at the time of the call.

Questions from new families

What is a meet and greet?

A 15 minute visit for expecting parents. You see the office, meet one of our pediatricians or our nurse practitioner, and ask anything. There is no exam.

Can we switch from another pediatrician?

Yes. Call the front desk and we will request your child's records for you.

Do you see children on Florida Medicaid?

Yes, through the Medicaid managed care plans we work with. Call and we will check your child's plan.
