Breastfeeding support in Clermont

Feeding is the question we hear most in the first weeks. Bring your baby hungry to a visit and we will watch a feeding with you.

A mother holds her newborn close

At your baby's visits

A cushion, a burp cloth and a glass of water on a sunny sofa

We weigh your baby and watch a feeding. We look at latch, how often your baby eats and how many wet diapers you count. Most questions get answered in the room.

When you need more time

A breast pump, two small milk bottles and a bag on a kitchen counter

If latch or supply stays hard, we will connect you with a lactation consultant. We also help with pumping and bottles when you go back to work.

Questions about breastfeeding support

How do I know my baby is getting enough?

Weight gain tells us most, so we check it at each early visit. Call us between visits if you are worried.

Can you help if we also use formula?

Yes. Many families use both. We will help you find a plan that works for your baby and for you.
