The first visit

Call from the hospital or the day you get home, and we will book a visit for three to five days after birth.
We weigh your baby, check skin color for jaundice, watch a feeding if you like, and go over sleep and diapers. Plan on about 45 minutes. Bring the hospital discharge papers and your insurance card.
The first two months

Most babies come back at two weeks for a weight check, then at one month and two months. If feeding is hard, we will see you sooner. One or two extra visits in the first month are normal.
Questions about newborn care
When should I call about a fever in a newborn?
If your baby is younger than 3 months and has a rectal temperature of 100.4 F or higher, call us right away, day or night. After hours, the nurse line will tell you where to go.
Can we meet you before the baby is born?
Yes. Call the front desk to book a meet and greet.
